Mace is clearly scheming something here, and I promise Val isn't going to like it one bit. But, such is the life of the perennial D&D 2nd Edition "Rules Lawyer" who knows the comic "8-Bit Theater" backwards and forwards. I remember when we had Brian Clevenger on the "Moonhawk Studios Presents" podcast back in 2009/2010 era. That was a magical period. You know just by that last panel that Mace is either going to dazzle her with brilliance or baffle her with bullshit.
